Description One of most favorite spots where i grew up. Peaceful and Tranquil. There use to be an old boat ramp at this location, but has since been closed as the parklands became a non-motorized area - located in Hopedale, MA

thanks - waste deep in muddy water to get this shot.........
a little bit of luminescencing (if that's a word ?) going on in that one swamp maple on the left - might have to tone that spot down a bit...

You sound like ME now of what you go through to get your shots. Personally, I'd leave that photo alone...it's perfect on MY end!

By the way, please check out some of my work: [link] Let me know if you find any you like.

yeap ! you have some sweeeet stuff - i have a soft spot for rustic barns, rural schools and churches and not in any particular order.
i'm orig from new england - boston area and move to wyoming in 1979 and have been to at least half the states, but my three favs are WY, CO and UT
i moved to colorado in 2005 - i miss being close to jellystone - what was once a 4 hour drive is now a 9 hour plus drive.....as for RMNP i'm up there a lot - my fav spot is the outlet to dream lake with hallett peak in the background - matter of fact if the weather holds i'm heading up there sunday morning for sunrise - we'll see (?)and in a few weeks there's a small group of us - DAer's - Flickrites and Google+er's going to southeast utah and you're more than welcome to join us - may 16th thru the 27th - there's gonna be a solar eclipse sunday may 20th - the line of totality is like albug, nm - thru page, az - north of reno and in between eureka and medford - suppose to be a nice one - i think at page, az it's gonna be about 18 degrees above the horizon - we're gonna try to catch it south of monument valley - south of katenta, AZ (?) will depend on the weather, but we're staring in moab for a couple of gays and working our way south - blanding, ut - bluff, ut - mon valley for a night - then up onto cedar mesa - about 20 miles west of blanding, ut - lots of ruins, rock art, and canyon country.....we go almost every may - usually during during college finals - this year because of the eclipse we're going a week later - the crowds are not that bad during may - now april is a different story......

It sure would be fun to join in, but there's no way I could get away right now. I'm an Aviation Safety Inspector with the FAA and that keeps me quite busy...but I love my job!

I'm originally from the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area and moved away in 1979 too! That's when I joined the Air Force and spent the next 21 years as an aircraft crew chief, then the next 7 years with the airlines. My favorite place to live was up in Alaska and Montana. MY three fav states AFTER Alaska are WA, ID, and MT. Have a great weekend Eddie and good luck on Sunday if you go!
