Description This is the entrance of "Rosengarten"(Roses'garden) in the realm of legendary "King Laurino". In the mists of time here the roses was blooming but a curse turned them
into stones. (see: C.F.Wolfss: "Leggende delle Dolomiti")

In this photograph you can see the "Re Alberto" shelter, Cima delle Pope,Gran Cront and background the Marmolada.

On the contrary this place is fortunately a real place!! (Dolomites, Val di Fassa, Torri del Vajolet area).
