Description Dry pastel on paper.

The ghasts are a race of carnivorous humanoids who live in the Dreamlands, and they appear in H. P. Lovecraft's The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath.

They are larger than humans, lack a nose and a forehead, and have very long legs, which they use to jump like kangaroos. They are extremely sensitive to light and natural sunlight is lethal to them.

Yes, but when I was drawing it I was thinking more of an elephant or rhinoceros (for the skin) and a grashopper (for the legs).

I see, still that warty skin looks very much like that of a toad and overall anatomy is extremely similar to the skeletal structure of a frog, don't you think

Yes, sure. Th hunchback too looks like those bumps around the parotoid glands of toads.
