I have been taking photos of them. I don't have a scanner. I tried using my mom's the other day, but it made the drawing look terrible for some reason. What kind of scanner/printer do you have? Your drawings always come out so crisp and bright looking.

Yes that has been what I have been doing too. Just taking photos of them out in natural sunlight. Other artist have said scanned copies are much better but I'm not sure where to go get that done.

I found a place in Lititz that does fine art prints. They seem to have decent prices and charge $25 to scan artwork. They also do photography prints. I still want to get a scanner for myself so I can just post drawings. I have been having trouble getting the drawings to look right when I photograph them.

Oh nice, Do you know the name of it? I might what to give them a try. Maybe try bring the contrast down a little or under expose them a stop or two when you photograph them. I think the lighter pencil marks are just getting washed. out.

I have been trying to get the white part of the paper to stay white looking, but when I do that, yes the lighter pencil marks get washed out. I feel like the drawing looks funny with the whole thing being so dark, but I don't know how to fix it.

Maybe in photoshop you can mask out the drawing and brighten the background without effecting the pencil.

The guy who owns the place is really nice and they have a sort of gallery set up in the front room.
I have no idea how to do something like that in Photoshop, my skills are very basic

I have my photoshop through Adobe Creative Cloud. It says it is CC 2014.
