I love this one! I read a Marquez book, and then I watched Goya's Ghosts. Even if Goya's Ghosts was set during the Inquisition and Marquez isn't Spanish-Spanish, I still was thinking about Spain. And I came up with this!No base.

Oh man, I uses to have one of those when I was like 4 or 5.I think it was called a "Carmen" doll, only her dress was in yellow. Somehow, it ended up being flushed down the toilet....erm...anyway..beautiful work. I love the sharpness of the lines and the detail!

I google searched "flamenco dress" a lot and looked at some dolls and dresses. Eventually, I just started drawing a bunch of ruffles.

That is a truly amazing dress, and the background is well-done as well. There's something bugging me about her proportions, though, but I can't tell what it is. Either her head is too small or her arm is too long.

Her head looks a *lot* smaller than it actually is because her black hair blends into the veil or something. But yeah, not so good with the baseless thing.
