The coolest guy from Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown....it's funny, I didn't particularly care for Virtua Fighter before. It seems the addition of a badass bishonen-type character with long silver hair is exactly what's needed to get me into a fighting game. And now that I've finally gotten into it, I see what a BRILLIANT game Virtua Fighter actually is!

I don't understand why they felt the need to put a silver haired bishe type character into the game, but I actually really like him! (my personal favs and bests are Lion, Jacky and Wolf though)

Well, it makes sense. It's a pretty popular character archetype that was missing from the game. Actually, considering Jean's easily approachable fighting style, I feel like he was deliberately designed to appeal to the anime/rock crowd who might not have been particularly interested in the series beforehand.
