Description
My two girls as G8F with new skin texture and hair.I like these new look.
UPDATE: changed the hair to the old PonyTail and added a small image with the old skin for comparison.

Yes, it's definitely the texture.
IMHO the new mesh with the old mats looks the most like the wonderful ladies we have all come to know and love!

They already had a lot of different textures in the past. Maybe we get used to the new texture.

Wenn es mal den Alterungsmorph gibt, werde ich das mal versuchen. Liegt aber auch an der Textur, die ist irgendwie frischer.

die skins sind schön aber irgendwie... fehlt mir was von den alten girls. Ich kann sie noch erkennen, aber... irgendwas fehlt. Trotzdem, schöne morphs und sie werden dir sicher bei vielen neuen geschichten zur seite stehen.

Ja, so 100%ig sind sie nicht wie zuvor. Das war aber schon beim Wechsel von G1 nach G2 so. Jetzt ist noch der Skin anders und die Haare, dass macht dann sehr viel aus.
Bin gerade dabei, das gleiche Bild mit ihren 'alten' aber neu texturierten Haaren zu rendern. Da kommt noch ein Ticken mehr Ähnlichkeit rüber. Sie wirken jetzt auch wesentlich jünger, was aber nicht beabsichtigt war.

hast du keinen youthmorph oder agemorph? das gehört doch normalerweise bei den grundmorphs dazu

I think it's more the smoothness of the higher-definition mesh, plus probably the texture too.
Looking forward to more of their adventures.
BTW, was wondering, is DAS Surface - Live created out of cubes still in the works?
