Ethan is the protagonist of OVA series Pokémon: Frontiers in Nintendo Cinematic Universe. He is a 14 year old boy who lives in New Bark Town at Johto Region with his family who loves him so much they care. He later becomes a trainer to train with his Pokémon’s so he can become stronger. He is a good with Kris, who lives in Johto and sometimes he has a crush on her. Ethan and Kris goes on the journey together and received a poke balls and gadgets by Professor Oak so they can use it. They later encountered Red and Leaf (Who are both from Kanto) who asked them if they want to have a quick battle into teams and they both agree. When Red and Leaf wins the battle, Ethan and Kris congratulate them and join together for their journey to become Pokémon trainers. Ethan is the member of the Frontiers along with Leaf, Kris, Lucas, Dawn, Nate and Rosa which is led by Red to protect citizens and fight criminals. In Pokémon: Lucario and the Guardians, Ethan and the teams was approached by Lucario, an Aura Guardian along with Gardevoir and Greninja are recruiting them to join the fight against Ghetsis, leader of Team Plasma with his son, N who are trying to take over Unova for reign of powers, they all agreed and the Frontier members absorbs an orb which give them powers, which Ethan receives Cryokinesis, a power to control ice. After they defeated Ghetsis and they celebrate their victory in Unova, Ethan and his teams was greeted by Mario and Samus, the members of the New Brawlers who was invited by Lucario. Mario asked the Frontiers to join New Brawlers for their new mission and fight any threats; they all agree and became members.
