Nate is the protagonist of OVA series Pokémon: Frontiers in Nintendo Cinematic Universe. He’s a 15 year old boy who a Pokémon trainer and a detective of the International police force working with Agent Looker who are working together to hunt down criminals and protecting the citizens. He lives in Aspertia City with his mother only, who loves her so much he cares while her mother works at the hospital. Her friend and next door, Rosa also loves Pokémon by playing with them or trains them during their free time, and they often have crush each other. Nate and Rosa was hired by Professor Aurea Juniper to give them a Pokedex and gadgets for their journey and they also need their help by calling Bianca, Juniper’s assistant, while on their journey. Nate and Rosa are the members of the Frontiers, led by Red along with other members, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lucas and Dawn, who are protecting the region and citizens from the inner threats. In Pokémon: Lucario and the Guardians, the teams was approached by Lucario, Greninja and Gardevoir who are recruiting them to join the fight against Ghetsis, a ruthless leader of Team Plasma who is planning to take over the Unova Region, the Frontiers agrees and began training, Lucario gives the members an orb which has powers, Nate receives the Electrokinesis powers to control electric and lighting. After they defeated Ghetsis and Team Plasma disbanded, the Unova Region celebrates the Frontiers for saving their home and starts to rebuild. After their celebration, Lucario thanked them for their help and he brought two visitors to greet them, Mario and Samus. Mario asked them to join the New Brawlers for the new mission, Nate and his friends agreed and join the team.
