Description The Queen Anne's Revenge was the former French Slaveship La Concorde de Nantes  She was the most powerful pirate ship of her era in the Americas. Blackbeard mounted 40 guns on her and used her for such legendary feats as Batttling the English Frigate the Scarborough to a Standstill, Blockading Charleston South Carolina, sinking a merchant from Boston. She was run aground at Topsail Inlet where modern explorers discovered her and began salvaging her artefacts.

My version is based on a couple sources. her quarter galleries are taken directly from the book Pirateology and their depiction of the Queen Anne's Revenge while her rails are based on a representation of the Queen Anne's Revenge from the book Pirates by John Mathews. Her stern also bears elements of the historical french Frigate the Renomme. She lacks a forecastle as there is evidence to suggest Blackbeard had it removed for purposes of streamlin

Here is a depiction of Blackbeard himself edward-smee.deviantart.com/art… , Next I'll do several other pirates, and their ships as I have been itching to do a series since doing this set edward-smee.deviantart.com/art… edward-smee.deviantart.com/art… of the Famed Dutch Buccaneer Laurens de Graaf and his Flagship the Neptuno
