Description Mono Lake as I always describe it is a photographer's playground. With so many interesting terrain. One of the most famous are the Tufa formations. Mono Lake is a basin without any exit points to the ocean. It is one of the most alkaline water in the world.

This was taken around 2am in the morning, after doing timelapse and star trail in the most secluded part of South Tufa beach. I decided to take this shot for the Infrared and Night workshop. Taken with almost a full moon showering the lake with enough light.
