"You know, you look good with your hair down Elsa."
Elsa jolted in shock and turned to see Jack smiling at her. "Um...Thank you. But how do you get past the guards? It makes no sense?"
Jack chuckled and set the end of his staff down and lent on it. "I had a lot of practice avoiding the village guard."
"Your village had a guard patrol. Why?" Elsa said shocked. "And what did you do to warrant their attention."
"My village is near the mountains and we had problems with bandits" Jack said before chuckling. "And the reason I was always in trouble with them was my idea of fun. They didn't have much of a sense of humor."
"And you do." Elsa said smiling. She really felt herself warming to this boy.
"Yes." Jack said confidently. "I was actually thinking of pulling a little prank on some of the castle guard. Maybe start hiding things, A pair of boots in the kitchen cupboards. A tunic in on one of the statues. What do you think?
"I think you'd get caught and end up in the dungeons for a very long time." Elsa said quietly. "And besides the idea is childish."
"Yeah but you'd like to see me try wouldn't you.I can tell by the smile your trying to hide." Jack said before flashing a cheeky grin.
Blushing Elsa quickly turned her face toward the shadows and smiled. She had to admit she enjoyed the boys frankness and he was cute in a strange kind of way. Elsa wondered if he might be an albino. What with the white hair and pale skin and eyes. That couldn't be inherited after all.
