Description
A bit of a closer look at a moose mama and her calf in Medicine Lake. I really botched the technical side of this. Going f/4 on 55 mm (1,5 crop) to single out the subject which is 200 m away or so? And going auto focus? Yeah, very good thinking... The result is that the subject is neither sharp nor stands out. The only good thing is that I learned quite the lesson here.Related content

You have taken the photo in Canada or USA?
It may me think of a similar event many years ago. In Canada, I was on a lake with my uncle fishing when I saw a mother moose and her calf crossing the lake. The calf was younger though. We were in a deep forest in the province of Quebec.
