Description This is the Malign Canyon. The water here comes from Medicine Lake (see the linked picture below). Medicine Lake leaks water into a large waterway system beneath. Apparently it's a rare occurance and this one of the biggest in the entire world. Depending on the pressure and the amount of water, it can take from just a fewer hours up to two days to resurface along the Malign Canyon a few kilometers down the hill.
If you think about it, it's amazing what water can achieve over a few million years. Here it carved some lovely shapes into the canyon.

Heh, thank you! It's weird when people know the place. They instantly notice what I did for the framing. In this case trying to exclude the fences and people while getting a nice angle.

I really like how you captured it
and yes avoided the people, always too many of them
and they linger too much

People and fences, the worst enemies of a photographer.

Very true
A wooden fence made with old trees might past the test but
all those metal chain link fences, Oh so ugly

Lots of geology going on there. I always love the kettles and old plunge basins that are left behind as the falls move upstream.
