Yes, in recent years the western world started to appreciate the culture of the natives who lived there for thousands of years, which is nice. I personally like those names because they seem to add a bit of a mystic feel, at least for me.

What do you mean by "top"? The peak of the mountain? Iirc is the highest peack to the left. The mountain is more of a jagged ridge.
