Description
A ridge line leading up from the mountain pass "Tuxer Joch" and up to the mountain peak "Hornspitze" (I believe). This was the only day I brought my camera up a mountain while skiing. I don't regret it because the scenery was stunning. However, I wouldn't do it more often. I had to ski extremely careful to be 100 % sure I wouldn't crash and risk to destroy my camera. At least that's how I felt like.

I am always skiing with a camera in my backpack, I wrap it in a sweater or something like that, the view changes quickly in the mountains.

Ich vermute, es hat woanders geschneit, immerhin gab es im Fernsehen viele erschreckende Bilder. Gut, dass du nicht irgendwo eingeschneit festgesessen hast.

Hm, also ich hatte den Wetter- und Schneebericht im Vorfeld mitverfolgt und es hat da schon teilweise pro Tag 50 cm und mehr gegeben. Vermutlich hat es woanders noch mehr geschneit aber naja. Ich denke auch es wurde in den Medien etwas übertrieben. Dass es im Winter zu starkem Schneefall kommen kann und dass dann Lawinen runterkommen und ab und zu mal ne Straße gesperrt ist, halte ich für normal. Habe auch einen Bericht gesehen, wo einer meinte, dass das in den 50ern und 60ern eigentlich fast jedes Jahr so war. Jetzt halt alle 10 und es wird viel mehr aufgebauscht. Aber was soll's, du hast auf jedenfall recht. Festsitzen wäre blöd gewesen.

Stimmt, früher waren die Winter kälter und schneereicher (auch bei uns), da ist man besser auf solche Situationen eingestellt.
