haha yeah that's what I do. I sketch really rough too so when I'm finished with my sketch I do my line art in a new layer traced over the old sketches ^_^

I really adore how you drew Ruto in this. Her head, for one thing, looks wonderful, and the fins do as well.

i forgot to tell you all that these two zelda fanarts r pretty old. the original piece is recent but i've stopped doing fanart for so long it kinda didn't portray my skill.
