Yeah that really looks similar. I remember reading from somewhere that the director took the style from Modigliani's paintings which aren't really even supposed to be scary. But they kind of are.

yes. But at the same time, even tho she was the only scary thing, she was insanely and absolutely disgustingly disturbing. She scared the shitouta me!
