I had to buy the red cow when I was in Aizu-Wakamatsu last week because of this picture... yep. They're so cute! I love it.Β
I imagine that Saitou took the bunny mask from Tokio to tease her and that is why she is now laughing.

the lil cow is cute, we have something similar in Mexico, but it's a lil turtle. Either way, it's adorable! And I'm glad to hear that your enjoying your travels!

Really? I used to win them in carnivals in Veracruz when I was little! Not to mention that they sold them EVERYWHERE whenever I go visit family down there.

Does the turtle stand for anything? My family is further north so I wonder if it's a Veracruz thing. Maybe not, because I do have a turtle I bought in Monterrey. I was always much more interested in the food at the carnivals than anything else...haha.Β

Not that I know of... And I'm sure I've seen those lil turtles everywhere, from Jalisco to Puebla and I'm sure I saw them being sold on the streets of Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta. I think they're mostly tourist things... I have no idea where they came from or why.
