Made a pair of Saiyan Armors for the long awaited release of Battle of Gods in the US some months ago!
Started off this one with a pepakura cardstock printout of the vest. Kudos to its creator! Taken even further using a combination of Fiberglass resin, body filler (bondo), spot putty, cloth+fiberglass resin, spray paint, cardboard, poster board, few other stuff, and many hours of sanding and filling to complete the full costume!
I had a hard time deciding if i wanted to give it just the shoulder straps or the old school fancy shoulder pad piece so i decided to go with both and make them interchangeable! And i couldn't resist adding a removable cape because how awesome would i feel wearing a saiyan armor with a cape!
