hey whatever it takes to release the demons! Stay in your head as lonng as you need! But don't get even more weirded out inside your head, haha, because then you'll have to stay even longer, thus the viscious circle begins. I think that happened to me once.

Hyah - I hate the glare and the gesso marks. . it takes away from the depth of the image in my view.
That face and attitude are stunning, as are the colors. Hot chasing cool, and getting suspended in mid-air.
I think the dark/light are brilliant - composition great.
I wanna see this on a darkish wall at the end of a hallway within a crazy vintage frame lit with just a exactly-bright-enough yellow spotlight. . . . that would be lovely.

Nice use of colours and light! Acctually i like those gesso strokes, they make this painting really interesting to look at. Those colours go really well together, it's enjoyable to look at. Great Great Great!

Indeed, the gesso was a touch out of control on this one. And I almost burned up my sander attempting to smooth it out.

Yeah I studied Rembrandt's skin tones and warm to cool transitions, and used that to help me figure these out, thanks....
