I've seriously never seen anything quite like this before 
those tiles are to die for and that it sort of looks like they're just hanging there is so cool, my god.
and the kneecaps especially are very well painted.

I love the chunky paint strokes, as well as all of the colors you used. I also like the way the pairs of legs get darker. Beautifully done.

Lately, I've seen a lot of paintings of just legs. . . and was intrigued by several, including this one. The middle three legs turned out the best. . . and I like the consistency of the background. That must have been a pain in the ass. Nice.

genuine thank you for all the kind words, and yes it was a pain in the ass. esp. because i did the bg last!! (very bad habit of mine) And the values are all whack on this reproduction, the entire right side of the piece is in shadow.
