That's such a big compliment! :3
It's funny but my dad actually said that i always draw the same thing, that it's not creative enough, i think my dad wants me to be some kind of revolutionary artist.. xD I do feel like i play around with different styles and topics though.

I know exactly what you mean! That's just how i see it.. I think most of it just goes flying over people's heads because i barely come across someone that doesn't draw who understands how it works.
Even my parents don't really get it, my mom hates the things i make and my dad is disappointed because it all "looks the same" and says there is no growth. From strangers it's understandable and i don't blame people if they don't understand it but it kind of sucks when your own parents don't really appreciate the things you make. Also: i like drawing pretty girls but hasn't that always been the most popular subject in art? I don't see anything wrong with that.

Well, it's probably that so many have done it, and done it well, that people in general are spoilt for it.
Also, I feel it's a parents responsibility to be honest, but more than that it's to be constructive.
Maybe you can coax it out of your parents. Just ask what they would change, or if they can tell you what to do next.
Maybe ask for art that excites them.

I did ask them about it but my dad always answers with a: "i don't know, something different" and my mom doesn't really even care xD
I can't really get any kind of proper in depth feedback or points of improvement from them.. That's why i'd rather ask my art friends.

Then i might work that one out.. But i'd rather do something in my own style than go into realism, that one would become pretty close to realism probably.

its fine the way it is, you shade too much on the other drawings.

I do not agree actually, it's mostly just color blocked.. which is clearly unfinished and lazy. Also.. you do nothing but shading? xD

Ehmm, actually that wasn't defensive at all, i just said that i do not agree with you and pointed out that you actually do almost nothing than shading so to tell me to not be shading that much seems illogical. You probably meant that it doesn't look good the way i do it or it's too exaggerated or something like that but you didn't really phrase it like that, hence my reaction. If i was being defensive i probably wouldn't have given you a logical answer.

It's one of those ninja action poses.. I think the idea behind it is that it *looks* dynamic.
