In general, yes, guys like Ken, Zuko (Avatar) etc..
Though I also have a soft spot for some goofy types - like Lee (Naruto), Sokka/Iroh (Avatar), Maes Hughes (FMA) etc. And then the shy ones like Matt/Kari, Hinata (Naruto) etc. I guess I have a really wide range of characters I like...

What I loved most about Matt and Tai (in combination, not about them as single characters) was how Matt kept being mean to Tai and Tai brilliantly ignored that and kept acting as if he and Matt were friends

I think what bugged me most about Davis is just that while Tai settled his differences with Matt, Davis kept bickering with TK all the time. Same goes for Davis' relationship to June and Matt.
