Bio:

Before earning his Cutiemark, Boulder wanted to be a 5-star chef. But all he could make was rock-based recipes. And all the ponies outside his family didn't really cared for any of his dishes.

One day, his aunt Pinkie Pie and his cousin Cocoa Berry came to visit. An earthquake happened and a rock Avalanche occurred. A huge rock hurtled toward the young Cocoa Berry. Boulder was the only one fast enough to save her in time. He jumped and chiseled the hurtling rock to pieces. When the avalanche finally ceased, his Cutiemark appeared on his flank.

At first, Boulder didn't like his Cutiemark 'cuz he thought that it meant he will never be the chef he wanted to be. His Father, Trouble Shoes, assured him that's not what it meant. He told Boulder the story behind his own Cutiemark.

Now Boulder owns a restaurant near his family's rock farm, it's currently popular to the Pie Family and dragons. It may not be 5-star, but to his parents and family, he gets 10 stars!

Cutiemark:

A boulder.

It represents that Boulder himself, is a hard case to crack. He specializes in mining, chiseling, and Geology. That may be his talent, but he also loves to cook, mainly rock-based dishes.

Personality:

Boulder is much like his mother, Maud. Appears indifferent to everything and only those closest to him can tell what he's really feeling. His hard gaze tends to set ponies off, making them think he's a hard judge of character. He's also honest about what he likes and dislikes.

One of the sure ways to tell if he's angry is when he flares his nostrils. And way to see that he's sad is when his ears are droopy and starts looking a lot more like his father.

Relationships:

Boulder cares for his family. And not just because they eat the food he makes. They supported his dream even when other ponies had to take a week appointment to the dentist due to his rock food.

He's especially close with his mother Maud Pie. She gives him advice and tells him that he should never give up what he loves doing.

He's close with his father as well, sense he understands having a Cutiemark that doesn't exactly seem the kind of Cutiemark they want.

Boulder adores his cousin Cocoa Berry. He thinks of her like a precious little sister. He's also super protective of her, so if anypony even dares to make her cry, the nostrils will flare!
