Not long ago I announced that I was in a middle of making my first Mlp Fim Next Gen OC, fav.me/da5645q . Now I finished making him. I hope I did okay for my first Muro Art.

Name: Midnight Shard
Nicknames: Shard
Parents: Sombra (Father) and Radiant Hope (Mother)

Background:
So Shard was born in the Crystal Empire. When it was found out that Hope was pregnant, she and Sombra to take a break from searching for Amore's Shards (they gathered most of them anyway), and live in the Empire for a while 'till their foal would be good for travel (They didn't want their foal to feel like they have neglectful parents). Course they had to endure the hard stares of the Crystal Ponies that still remember Sombra's cruel reign. But Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Amor made up for it with their hospitality.
During the first 4 years of Shard's life, he served as a playmate for Princess Flurry Heart. His parents decided to set out to find the remaining shards, taking their son with them. Finding the last shard was tricky, something blocked out Sombra's magic from finding it. Seeing his struggling parents, Shard decided to join the search. Seeing his father doing it before, he tried using his magic. He saw a flashing image of Princess Amore, then a second later, the last shard shot out of the ground, attracting the other shards that Sombra and Hope had collected. the shards joined and formed the statue that Sombra once shattered. Sombra and Hope gawked at their son, and when he snapped out of his daze, he traced where his parents were looking at and saw his cutiemark appeared on his flank.
Sombra and Hope decided it would be best to turn Amore back to her true form at the Crystal Empire. And when they all did come back, it was time for the Crystal Fair. With all citizens of the Crystal Empire, Princess Cadence and Prince Shining, the Mane Six, and the Royal Sisters as an audience, Sombra turned Princess Amore back to her former self. But before that, Sombra gives a speech about his past, and how he can never make up for what he did, he thanks Radiant Hope for believing in him, the four Princesses for giving him a chance, and Shard, his pride and joy.

Personality:
Shard is a true gentlestallion, as his parents raised him to be. He's kind-hearted and strong-willed. But he also inherited his mother's naïveté and innocence. He knows how to treat a lady, but won't recognize any flirting nor any dirty-talk. But he knows insults when he hears them he will stand up for himself and his friends and family.

Cutiemark:
A gem shard encircled by his magic aura.
His talent is finding magical objects that can benefit Equestria. Or dangerous artifacts, which he can find a way to have them safeguard or destroyed so that they won't fall in the wrong hooves.
There's also one other talent that he has... He's one HECK of a ballroom dancer!

Relationships:
Shard has a good relationship with his parents. He's closest with his mother, however. He usually comes to her for advice. Sombra loves his son, but feels he doesn't deserve him after all he's done.

His closest and oldest friend would be Princess Flurry Heart. They were friends since foal-hood and would usually tell each other everything. Even for the years they spend apart when Shard and his parents venture out to find Princess Amore's fragments, their friendship never faded. Shard adores Flurry's silliness and Flurry loves how innocent he is, especially when it comes to how oblivious he is when it comes to a mare's infatuation with him.

(I still trying to figure out how he gets along with the rest of the characters... ^^')
