Are you crazy? No! Leave the poor crocodiles alone. They didn't do anything wrong! That's what reptiles do! Maybe humans should just be more careful. Why is it wrong if crocodiles kill humans, but then if you kill a crocodile that's completely fine? Psh!

Would #4, about gates & barriers, be acceptable to you ?

We vastly reduced the numbers of lions, tigers and bears because encounters with them usually end in unprovoked violence against us. They are unreasoning killing machines.

oh man... did you realize that the actual "solution" you propose is exactly the thing you are complaining about the god damn crocodiles. So your solution: Preventing someone to get eventually killed by a crocodile without a specific reason (if you consider hunting reasonless) by killing the crocodiles without a specific reason but preventing to get eventually killed "without reason..."
Man you should rethink your whole attitude to life.

WE are unreasoning killing machines. We kill cows, pigs, chickens, sheeps, you name it. They kill for survival. We kill animals just because we want a nice jacket. Maybe a nice rug. It makes no sense.
