Ok so.... this isn't like me is it? I'm working on another drawing with Chelick in it, so while at work today I thought I'd get to know him a little better... I also am trying out this Sai program.Trial version, lol... realized I couldn't save this image and I almost tossed it. But then I wondered if the die hard Chellick fans out there might enjoy it so... here it is... pieced together from print screens.
The colours in this are over the top, I know... this was just me playing around with a new digital painting program.

Really? I haven't played battlefield 3 yet. I do love those moments when I recognize voices from other games or celebrities. It's going to be weird hearing Freddie Prince jr in ME3!

Over the top? Not at all. It adds a different feel to the piece, and the colors contrast wonderfully. It's oddly energetic, considering Chellick looks like he's about two seconds away from knocking someone down a peg (or two).

He does look like he's about to rip someone a new one, doesn't he? I've always been a bit of a sucker for colour... though I might need a little more practice using it effectively.

I just realized recently that his tattos aren't pale blue but white ... they always looked pale blue on my screens, so I guess I'll have to change that from now on.

yeah I uhhh... made him entirely purple, lol... I was so excited about having a colour pallet sitting in front of me that I got a little generous with the saturation.... ah well!
My tvs and my laptop screens vary so widely in colour that I'm never really sure what colour anything is in any of the mass effect games. They really like their mood lighting I think. And I'm not really complaining.
Only two more months to go!!!!!!

Yes, it's a bit weird really. And when you change the gamma settings in-game you can get varied results as well. Ah well, I hope any Chellick fans out there will forgive me!

I know they released stuff by accident... but I also heard something about a multiplayer beta. I'm out of the loop... I just can't seem to keep track of things

He he, yeah I just read about that last night. Ooops.
But now I read that there's a 'demo', rather than a beta as I thought, supposed to launch in January. Apparently it will contain both the single player campaign and the multiplayer. I'm starting to debate whether or not to actually try this and risk spoiling something important ... Perhaps it's wiser to wait for the full game in March instead. I can wait two more months.

Well, I've stayed away from anything ME3 as best as possible so far so I don't really know anything about the game yet. I think I'll wait. But then I bought a game (BF3) in vain, he he, as I bought it solely for the beta/demo.

Yeah as in the paint tool. I'm actually SUPER EXCITED about it. I haven't really figured the damn thing out yet, but it's the closest I've ever gotten to working the same way digitally as I did when I worked with oil sticks. I had downloaded a version from their website that said full english version, but when I installed it, it was a trial version which meant you couldn't open or save anything.
I have since... remedied this issue. And now I'm working on a picture of Gavorn.

I love how his eyes stand out. It is natural for someone to look at the eyes on a piece of art first, but that bright green is really attention-grabbing.

Originally I didn't like them because I thought they were too intense, but as I kept playing they grew on me.
