when I first so it as a thumbnail I was sure that it's a girl/boy with long hair, sitting next to a lake or a pond... imagine my surprise when I clicked it
but it turned out to be something beautiful, and unique! what most got me is those eyes.. this strange look this beautiful cat has... I loved it. I fav it

I also am not crazy about most pictures of household pets, but I love how you captured the natural curiosity of cats. They're always looking around their environment for new and interesting things to keep their attention. I also love how the cat's face is the thing that is most in focus, which draws me to its expression. I love it! :fav:

I think I the way you composed (I think that is the word - maybe framed is better) this picture. The way the cat is all the way to the right. Something about that is just naturally cool to me. Also the way you got the white fur on the cat's chest and neck to seem to glow draws me to this picture. The glow nicely contrasts the black in the picture without making it stark.
I would critique but I don't do photography and so don't really know enough to comment. Plus I can't say I see anthing really wrong with it.

For the most part, I don't like pictures of household pets (Don't know why, its just me)
But you captured this so perfectly. Unique & creative, great perspective and position.....I really like this
