Awesome pic. Reminds me of the book,
On a Pale Horse by Piers Anthony which ya'll might really be interested in reading. It's about a guy about to shoot himself, sees death reflected in the mirror, turns around and shoots him, then has to take over death's office, and do his job!

wow! this one is really dark & good!
The pose is also great! With nice composition, but maybe little bit too dark.
Would be great to add more shadows and less dark, specially on face.

The pose and the scythe is looking very powerful. The sense of dread and impending doom is almost tangible - not at least thanks to the ominous dark background that his character seems to step out of. I do of course have some gripes with this picture - heh heh - I am certain you would have been disappointed if I didnt. Anyway - the darkness of this picture is it strenght but also its weakness, since I think it just *too* dark. You could at least have turned up the contrast somewhat more - if nothing else, so at least adjust the light settings, so the light areas becomes more visible. And since we are talking about the grim reaper here - wouldn't it also have been an idea to not show any signs of skin? I mean - we are talking about Death himself here. You could either have removed the saturation on the areas where the skin is exposed, or you could have either worn gloves - or manipulated in stretches, wrinkles or something like that in the area. Heck - you could have gone all the way out and inserted to blue, glowing orbs where the eyes were supposed to be.
But all in all - this is a pretty good picture everything considered.

umm - thank you - I think I'll give it a try, just for fun. Then I can send it to you afterwards, and you can stick it under a "fanart" section or something like that.
