i have group work tomorrow at uni and to meet the brief for a game i decided to work on Leyla
she is the adoptable that didn't sell from the first batch oc mystery adopts.
She has her own used bookshop under an old oak tree. She is a type of tree fairy that can make trees and flowers grow and bloom and do whatever she wants. Kind of like Cornelia from Witch.
So she has her tiny cave under an oak tree where branches are shelves and such, the only lights being the blowing lights in her hair. the bigger ones fall at the end of the day and another ones grow. The ones on her wrists only fall once a month and it takes 3 days for them to properly grow back. So yeah, the ones in her hair regenerate overnight and they look like the one on her forehead by morning. So the bookstore has hundreds of them to light it. (She looked a glowing orb a day, so you can count how many days have been since she invented the bookshop.
The way her bookstore works is that monsters come in and exchange a book for a new one!
Her hair changes depending on season as well: Spring is mint green, summer is this shade of green, autumn is orange/redish and winter is white!

Monster: tree dryad
Monster Species description: This species of dryads has been created by the Queen by touching the old oak trees on the island. They are easily recognized by the shiny fairy lights in their hair. The fairy lights have a 5 day lifespam, at the end of which they fall out of their hair, but don't stop shining. All the fallen lights are used to light the forest, creating a beautiful effect on the island. They don''t hurt when they fall, and it takes 3 days to grow from a tiny rice sized light to a proper tear shaped orb.
Monster Abilities (if any): growing fairy lights, morphing back into the tree they come from, can only tell the truth
Age: looks 19
Personality: calm, friendly, inquisitive, bookworm
Friends: Floria, other pixies and dryads, Redd (belongs to Supertato )
Story: She was created on the island but somehow ended up in the same place as Floria, Clary and the rest of the monsters that need to come back to Egos Orbis. She started a book exchange under her tree, where she made her own library, fairy light as the only lights there, and roots as shelves. She collects old books and exchanges one for one when monsters come, looking for a new book to read. She talks with Mira, who's a usual client, looking for magic and herb related books. She decides to hoard as many books as she can so when everyone is taken back she can go with her tree and everything underneath it.
Occupation: librarian in her own little improvised library
Hobbies: reading, braiding strings of fairy lights, playing guitar

Facts:
-she loves tea with a bit of honey
-fairy lights can be given by a tree dryad to someone, when they do, the person can make a wish. When the wish comes true, the light dies out, leaving a glass see through tear shaped container.
-they are a rare species
