Nicely done.
Is there an actual wind project in the works for that area?

Let us not forget that the artist forgot that this entire piece was created using a coal-burning power-plant ... how ironic.

Good luck getting a job in that field, unless it is government funded.

Yes, I would be surprised that anyone with some common sense would start a private company in this field, unless they thought their biggest 'consumer' was going to be government or companies that have been forced, or 'Government mandated into', buying into this field.

where have you BEEN the past few decades?? like seriously, do you live under a rock?? there's the basic renewable energies that need people to work on development, improvement, and just general keep-it-working stuff (wind power, hydroelectric power, photovoltaic power, nuclear energy, geothermal, i could go on....)
and then there's the whole thing with storing energy, which is what i'm really into. with people getting things to take their houses off the grid (even at least partially) there's a need for storage of energy, and the batteries we have now simply aren't good enough. and of course there are hybrid and electric cars, which is i guess specifically what i want to work on. i like batteries. and panasonic makes the batteries for the toyota hybrids (and maybe some others too) - so there's a major company right there. as well as the car companies themselves.
and in general, with the way the oil's being used up, we NEED more energy, and cleaner energy.
and i'll have you know that i already have an internship offer at my school's renewable energy center.
but seriously. what planet do you live on???

Just what is "sustainable architecture"? Is it architecture that last as long as the pyramids of Egypt?

Wow. I love the aesthetic aspects of this image and the lovely pastel colours. For all the fact that they're good for us, I fins it so hard to make these things look *pretty*
