Nice work here. I love how you didn't outline her legs, and my mind draws them in. Awesome work.

fantastically bold image - really captured everything that makes this scene dramatic what program do you use for your vectors?

Adobe Illustrator. This one was done in version 10, according to the source file, though it doesn't use anything AI8 couldn't do.

Very lively - I love how you do little touches like the movement of her necklace and the tilted background to add movement, while keeping things tense with her posture.

I'm not sure whether it's because of my aging monitor or not, but the fading effect on the edges of the blood looks watery and doesn't seem to fit with the rest of lovely clean cut imagery. I think the sudden shift from red - yellow - white is what does it - not sure you'd want to change it as it's a minor thing, just my constructive two cents.

Things I love - the illusion of legs! Very subtle optical illusion, which is great. The shape of her boots is great, and I love her eyes. Interesting seeing sclera darker than the skin tone, but it really works. And the smoke wisps from her gun are yummy - very decorative in a good way.

Vive verbosity? ^^

Thin-smeared blood really can be yellowy! The idea is that she's stepped in the blood and smudged it around a little...

Next time you find yourself bleeding from some little cut, smear it around a little and see how the color changes, especially if you smear it onto something pale; watch the color as it dries, too. It's a lot more subtle and varegated than the red that we're led to believe.

Also, the scerae of her eyes are the same yellow that the blood fades through, and her lips match the main pool.

Mostly it's that the blend on the edge of the blood pool is not really what it should be. I seem to recall playing with it to the point of 'oh, I give up, it's good enough'.

Detailed love is good! It's a nice break from "OMG <3 <3". Not that I don't mind a little of that. n.n

Ahh...see, the only experience of blood puddles I've had is bottle-blood from movies. (As of late,The Man who Wasn't There). And they're always nice and red and shiny. Remembering back to a time when I was little and skinned my knee, you're right though.

Hey, who doesn't love a little "OMG"ness? It can make an ego purr. Detailed love is more fulfilling, I think.

(but just in case OMG!!!<3<3 :3 she is so cute!)

Her boss's. She came in late one night to deliver some papers after a company party and she found him like this. In a city like this you never go anywhere without some form of protection, so when she heard something behind her after finding the body, the gun was instantly in her hands. She heard rumors about a particularly hostile company takeover... but she never expected this....
