For the #HARPG-University ETA Because I forgot the initial image (I didn't see it alright >.>). Had to make a few changes to the specifications, since my stables has always had endurance and so the 'teacher' is a familiar face Enjoy:

The stalls of Willowglen were mostly empty that morning. Spring had come like a breath of fresh warm air, quite literally, and the horses were out enjoying the warmth and freedom of their large paddocks. Despite this, the stable complex was far from quiet. Jamie peeked his head around the wide barn doors, recognizing the cooing immediately. The bursts of giggles and baby talk belonged to none other than Pip, just the woman he was looking for.

He found her moments later, sprawled across the half door tickling the underside of a certain pale Teke's chin. The horse in question was also who he was looking for, and it was no surprise to Jamie that he'd find the pair together. Ever since the departure of Willowglen's thoroughbreds, Pip had lacked a horse that was really 'hers', so in the spring Willowglen's owner Stacey Jones had entrusted her with their budding endurance horse's care. From that moment forward Pip and Puppy were often seen bounding around together, much to the envy of many of the stable hands and grooms. The leggy filly had captured the hearts of everyone who met her, and no doubt there were a few disappointments when her trainer was announced.

There was nothing but smiles to be had from Pip however; and Jamie had to admit the two were a good match. A familiar wide grin spread across Pip's face as both she and Puppy turned to face him. For a moment, Jamie had to stop himself laughing the performance was so comical - though he knew he'd regret comparing Pip to a horse any day.

"What's up cowboy?" she inquired, propping herself fully against the frame of the stall. "Come to tell me I can finally get a saddle on her?"

"Nope, got sent here by the boss," he replied, ignoring her teasing as usual. He produced a few sheets of paper from his back pocket. "Supposed to teach you about what to feed her so she'll perform right."

Growing serious, Pip hopped down from her perch and pulled over a pair of empty feed buckets so the pair could pour over the lists. Jamie began explaining the theory behind the different feeding plans, pointing at sections as he went. "Because her performance is directly influenced by her diet, moreso than your thoroughbreds, its important that you get the right amount of fibre, starch, fats..."

Now, while this was terribly interesting and important for the two humans in the room, Puppy found the reading far less entertaining. She watched for a while, leaning her long neck over the stall door to see whether the pair were hiding any treats, but the significant lack of them was disappointing. Quickly becoming impatient of waiting for her entertainment to return, the filly made a few circuits of her stall before poking her head out again. No change from Jamie or Pip, but the white thing the blond man was waving around piped her interest. For a few moments her pale eyes followed it's path, ears straight up in the most comedic fashion possible. Then she grabbed a hold of it mid-swing and tugged.

There was an outcry from Jamie as the sound of ripping paper filled the hall. He and Pip spun around to find Puppy waving the sheet around above her head like a victory banner. And all Pip could do was burst out laughing. The filly's performance became all the more entertaining as Jamie tried to retrieve the ripped piece: she held it just out of his reach while Pip gasped for air.

"You aren't going to want that back, it'll be covered in horse slobber," she finally managed as Jamie got a hold of the now ruined list. "Though I think its safe to say your new diet has got the Puppy seal of approval."
