A'noud in hunter pleasure at the Silver Spur All-Arabian ChampionshipsResult: Reserve Champion (2nd Place)
So I made a bit of an oops with this entry. I've had the lines finished for a very long time, and then saw that Silver Spur closes in a few days. Time to get Petal out into her first under-saddle classes and get her qualified for Nationals. Originally this was supposed to be for show hack, but then I got it into my head that she should have a hunter saddle pad instead (I redrew it from the original square) so oops. She'll probably be showing in show hack at Nationals, but for now... Oh well, Petal is versatile with a lovely way of going. I should also explain she has quite a head of hair on her, so her braids end up very fat indeed.

no problem! i was just looking at your tutorial. I really want to try this kid of shading. But it seems challenging. And im working with Storm's New refrence hes mainly white. What advice do you have?

I tend to alter the method I use to shade depending on the colour of horse, but the usual multiply shadows and addition / screen highlights can work on them just as well
