Indeed. I hardly use my ps3 because the xbox has provided me with more entertainment (managed to get 20k+ points and don't wanna start from 0 on the ps3), but the ps3 is coming back for me now that they're integrating trophies more and the fact they have far more intelligent and creative games. Having said that though, the new consoles will all be coming out probably in 2011 so I'm not gunna invest too much time in it.

I can understand that. Achievements/Trophies/Points, has become a meta-game in-and-of itself at this point.
The next cycle of game consoles is still a long way off imho. The big 3 companies have plenty of more money invested in 3rd and 1st party development. Until that slows down I wouldn't expect to see the next-gen getting close... especially with Sony. And really, there are some superb games coming out that is keeping my PS3 controller in-hand.
