Description

This was an odd one cuz it was the first BDB painting that I really struggled with. Normally they come quite easily. Qhuinn in particular was a breeze. But for some reason, could not seem to get a good flow going and I left it for a few days. In the end I decided to just blitz through it quickly today and get it done.

Anyhoo! This is Marissa, my second favourite shellan. Would still probably be first had Xhex not come along.

The ref pic is Diane Kruger, who is my Marissa in every single way. She has that regal, glacial quality Marissa has. I painted exactly what was in the picture because it was perfect as it was and captured everything I see when I envision her.
