Colorado, looking beautiful as always, especially with little bits of fall colors in the scrub oak.

This Vietnam War era aircraft was my first helicopter ride. It came from Kansas, and the visiting pilot offered my colleagues and I flights. The Hughes OH-6 is commonly known by the nickname "Loach." In combat, these were scout helicopters. I'm a fixed-wing pilot who knows very little about helicopters. I intend to stick with airplanes, but this was a lot of fun.
