Felt like doing another tribute piece in memory of Joe Simon as his (and Jack "The King" Kirby) characters formed such a great part of my childhood. Check out the challenge thread over at Outcast [link]

Used a couple of Kirby pieces as reference for this sketch, hope I have captured the dynamism of his work and it is a fitting tribute to show Captain American and the Fighting American.

Don't have time to ink it today, but I will probably come back and do that. If anyone feels like using this for inking practice be my guest - just link back in the comments please.
