A quick drawing i did of Anne from Pop'n Music for the Japanese Pop'n Music drawing challenge on Twitter.
The theme for this weekend is to draw a Pop'n Music character with their name starting with A. I think it's a new and a creative theme i like that's similar to previous themes, like songs starting with the letter E for example.
I like that, and it means i can try on drawing characters Pop'n Music character i haven't drawn before, or to draw a Pop'n character i like i have drawn before again.
Anne is a Pop'n Music character i really like, and i have been wanting to draw her again for a long time. I really like her a lot~
She's adorable and has a sweet design! I do really like her design too, as well as her song.
For this quick drawing, i decided to try out my new chibi style traditionallu by using my color pens. I know my chibi style stills looks better digitally in my opinion, but i think it looks nice traditionally too.
Overall, it was a huge pleasure to draw Anne again! It's been 2 years since i have drawn her, where she was drawn for a holiday along with many other female Pop'n Music characters. I like how she came out in my chibi style.
I really want to make more art in this new chibi style, since i like the new style very much. I might perhaps do the style again when doing the second drawing for the challenge.
