Roku: Hey, King! Let's rock and roll on the road~
the King: Rocking on the road, rocking with you, my dear friend~

This was a drawing of Roku and The King from Pop'n Music i did for Rock Day (ロックの日) in Japan yesterday!
I wanted to make something for that holiday, actually and these two came to mind!
I would imagine them in my AU to be rock and roll buddies, even if they don't know each other. There, they were going to play on their rock guitars.

I can already see that they might come along quite well~
For Rock Day, i designed them rock styled outfits to wear on their own performance. Roku's rock outfit was inspired by Shollkee's Pop'n 20 outfit, whereas
The King's outfit was inspired by his outfit he has in the games. Though apart from that, i don't know else what inspired The King's outfit.
There are a couple of interesting reasons why i drew them for Rock Day. First of all, Roku's name. In a couple of years as a Pop'n Music fan, i found it interesting it Roku's name,
despite meaning 6 in Japanese could also be a romanji name for Rock (ロック), even if it's spelled as Rokku. His songs were also rock themed, hence why i got the idea.
Second of all, it was The King's birthday yesterday! He is an American idol, but i would imagine him to like Rock too.

Though i originally wanted to do Poto instead of the King, since i wanted to draw Poto with Roku for some reason, but i scrapped the idea of doing Poto since i found the King to be more
suitable for the role as Roku's rock and roll buddy. However, i'm considering of doing Poto in a music band with Sofus August (my OC) sometime.
But for now, enjoy the drawing and i hope you will like it!
