So adorable. How does one do such great bushes? Anyway...these little costumes are just so cute. ~

This is actually my first time trying to make a bushes type effect! What I did was set down a dark green base, and then in a lighter colour (slightly more yellow) I messily drew leafs (just a bunch of small strokes), then using a smaller size and even lighter colour (more yellow again) I drew smaller leaves (this gave it a lighting effect). To create more shadows just go from your original dark green, turn the colour down mkre blueish with shadow and messily fill in places you think there should be shadow. Uhh.. maybe im making it sound easier than it is. I will do tutorials one day when I'm not so lazy (Also I dont think my stuff is quite good enough yet to be giving other people advice really).

Your bushes are much better than I could ever attempt. I think that your art is good enough to be giving advice (specially sense I asked XD). That gives me a good input on how I should at least attempt a bush like effect, thank so much for your response, it helps me a lot. >w<
