Description Second in the Artifact of Power series.

Did the first sketch on 4/4, then didn't work on it for about nine days heh. But then I studiously colored it on and off and yeah I finally finished it yesterday!

If you want background on this "project" go look at the description for the first one in the series (link is at the bottom). Anyway, the song here was The Bottom of the Lake, so here's how it ties in...

Serenade of Water - 'cause he's like, in the Water Temple.
Zelda's Lullaby - 'cause he's at that thing where you play the song to change the water level and kill yourself from frustration.

Things I've done here that I've never done before: 1) perspective... sorta, I know the wall's probably off but eh, 2) have a dungeon as the background, and 3) have no lineart at all! I used it as a guide but it's not in the finished version.

Also, I know he's wearing his green tunic but the Zora one would make him blend in too much (okay, okay, I had colored it before I realized my mistake, but I like it better this way... REALLY!). And... two movements down, two to go!

Nice work. I love the expression and posture; you can feel his frusteration in trying to work through the horrible Water Temple. ^_^

I hate this temple.

But really good job on the picture! The wall texture looks great. And I like his expression... like... 'ugh I don't wanna do this'

The texture of Link's tunic and the triforce on the wall look especially nice. Good job!
