Description Proof I am alive!

I only finally got around to doing any art since I've been away. I love the "vintage" Zelda games, and I wanted to do a pic reflecting that. Here is the original picture I saw and ripped the pose from [link]

I guess that comic stole the pose from Zelda II, according to other da people.

On a side note, the colors look better on my laptop than on this computer I am using now...kind of hard to work with colors on the comp!

Dude I am a serious Zelda fan and I have seen a lot of Zelda pictures. But I have to say that this is my most favorite one yet. it catches the feel of the whole fantasy side of Zelda... Well I think so at least. amazing work.

Hey there, Jimmy! I was just wondering the other day where you've been, and then here you are, showing up with some new great artwork. I love the composition of this piece and the tone of the colors--it's dark but vivid, brown and green and shadowy and stuff. Good to see a fresh piece from ya!

I know understand why you're still a bit averse to entirely digital pieces. The pencil textures really bring the castle - and everything else- to life. The sketchy quality of your lines gives life to the elements without needing too much paint.

I like the way you made the shadows and the lineart gives it the right look. Just the color of the sky is a bit sad, maybe you could have made it a bit brighter, more cheerful^^
nevertheless great work!

Thanks--actually, I probably make this brighter soon. It looks so dark on other monitors...
