I think this is the first time I've drawn Young Link, but here is my first fan-artwork of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. I promise no major spoilers in this artwork since I have been avoiding them. But what I've drawn here is pretty much what I've seen from the official art and a trailer once! Link is exiting a wall behind him from the other world in order to protect his homeland of Hyrule. I blended the official pastel art with the earlier concept art of him just to make it a little bit different to my liking~
I am definitely going to get this game! It looks really interesting and so far has gotten a lot of positive reviews.
Also, for those who knows what happens in the game etc, please becareful with what you type in the comments below because some people are avoiding spoilers (like me ^^'), thanks!

Oh wow. This is just so epic. Just a boy and his sword against the oncoming storm. I just can' get over it. I especially love the way Link's hair is blowing into his face. It just adds to the mood. My only critique is that you can still see the picture of Link on the wall behind him. Thoguh I can see why you adid this since you hadn't actually played the game yet. Sorry for the long comment

This is absolutely beautiful! I really love how you imitated the style of the original artworks. Also, the colors and contrasts are good, it captures the mood of the game very well! May I ask you something? Did you used custom brushes or did you made them yourself? The little textures in the picture are nice, and I wonder how you made them

I used a blend of both Photoshop's default and custom brushes to make this image. Custom brushes were used to make the grass and the texture on the rock/sky behind Link (made them myself), but a lot of the Dry Media default brushes were used to draw everything else.
