Hey guys, I drew San from Princess Mononoke. Tried to make the background somewhat whimsy and Ghibli-like. Last minute cropping needs to stop!I hope you like it.
Irrelevant matter: I'm so nervous right now that it's not even funny /interview in 3 hours

This looks amazing. mononoke is as absolutly perfect as a forest. The only thing that looks weird is a wolf. This is only one animal that I know how to drawing perfectly. So... wolf head has got good proportions, but ears are made like cats ears. They must be more sharp. Next, the body is too smal with that head. tail is also too short and the fur on it should be thicker. Front legs are too short, and the back legs are... I don't know but I see something strange in them. But you are in a good way. I never dreamed that I could draw people like you ,so congratulasions. For me it's like Mount Everest(: Maybe you should look out for some wolf anatomy studies or something? For me it was very helpfully.

You're right, I didn't know a lot about animal anatomy back then since the most of what I drew were humans. I spent more time on the wolf than I did on Mononoke, but I guess it was still a matter of experience.

Your shading and coloring are absolutely beautiful 
The only critique I can offer is using more references for wolves. Cute as it is, the proportions here make him look like exactly like a giant puppy. The legs, body, neck, and tail should be much longer.

Hmm, you're right, it's a lack of practice on my part. I did look up references but I couldn't apply the anatomy well enough.
