WAAAAIT A SECOND..This Yule log suspiciously tastes alot like real wood hmm.
On banner above in Dutch: Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year
Basically my delayed Christmas card I'll be stalking the mailbox of my friends with the next few days
I finished it just today, took me about a week but I'm super happy with how it turned out though!!
Last year I did a Christmas card themed with my Bad Manners characters (it's not on here, but it looks dated now) which were more like the 18th century, well this year is did a card with my 17th century characters <3 they're inspired on 17th century Antwerp during the time of the painter Rubens (and also alot on the paintings of Bosch and Bruegel). I've got sketchbooks filled with character designs for this concept and I'm wanting to work it out more in 2016. But I can't promise alot of art on dA this year, at least not the coming 6 months because I'm in my last year of High School (FINALLY) and will probably have alot of schoolwork to do *sad* bUT I will do my best!!
Materials used: watercolor, watercolor pencils, gelpen, Photoshop CS6

Omg I didn't realise that you haven't finished highschool yet! I'm always very impressed when I realise that people can draw with such maturity and technique while being under 18-19! It gives me motivation to increase more and more my skills!
Anyway this card is wonderful, I love it! ^__^
And good luck for this last year! Hope you will still have some time for creation and that we will still enjoy some of your artworks.
