You're illustrations always have so much character and life, and they're are always so much fun to look at! Also just found out you have an instagram, so I'll be following you over there if you don't mind!

My pleasure, and that's how I feel about instagram as well. To be honest, I don't like this site as much as I once did, and Tumblr has this disconnect with artists over the years, but Instagram is just a lot more free and personable I feel. Anyways, keep up the great work!

It's really sad to me, because I used to love DeviantART, but it's just got that top 50 artists set up where you only see the best of the best and it's hard for other's to see your work, it's really unfortunate. I do like Tumblr for inspiration, but usually only get reblogs my Disney fanart does well. It also bugs me when people only "like" rather than "reblog." haha

I don't even try really with this site anymore. I do post final pieces and put them in groups, and even have the occasional conversation, but that's about it. It just doesn't hold the same magic it once did, it's the same way I feel about YouTube, but I won't go on a tangent about that.
I had been here years ago on an older account, I decided to get this one since I wanted a fresh start. I definitely love seeing improvement though, and I tend to use my Instagram for that same reason. And that's very true, I draw Disney fanart all the time, and it's definitely more popular than my original work a lot of the times. However, I love drawing Disney characters, and it's taken me a while to get good at drawing them so I'm usually okay with that.

I actually have an account there, but I never post my own artwork. That actually sounds like I great idea, I've seen many artists posting their professional artwork over there. I do imagine it might be hard to get noticed, I firmly believe all artists should cover basically all of social media, you never know where your artwork could pick up momentum. Having said that, I say go for it! It won't hurt to give it a try at least.
And I'll be sure to check that site out, thank you!
