A custom commission for a very nice customer.
Makes me want to do a wampa hat. Or maybe a balrog.I took the aviator-style hats out of the shop because I don't have the hand strength to put the snaps in anymore, but I don't mind doing the ties. Maybe I should put up a few like this.

how did you get the ridges right? just sewing a line in a spiral around the horns?

Basically. It's the same way I do the unicorn horns, I wrap embroidery thread around the horn and make a little stitch at the seams to keep it in place.
