My entry for Animal Spirit Guide contest, advanced category, by CRPhotomanipulation with Pendragon-Arts -------> Journal
Won 1st place!
I have chosen a bear as a spirit guide. As spirit animals are described as an otherworldly guide, I made the bear to be like a spirit or a reflection of (mind I say) very handsome model, guiding him through life as a force of strength and as a healer - hence the green smoke. Green is usually shown as a color of healing, nature, balance and has soothing influence on mind and body.
"In the kingdom of spirit animals, the bear is emblematic of grounding forces and strength. This animal has been worshiped throughout time as a powerful totem, inspiring those who need it the courage to stand up against adversity. As a spirit animal in touch with the earth and the cycles of nature, it is a powerful guide to support physical and emotional healing.
The bear is also a guide to take leadership in your life or in other peopleβs lives. This animal is feared and admired for its strength. Its presence inspires respect. Oh... muaaaaaha ha ah ahaaaaaa voting didn't end till the 24 and the votes weren't tallied till last night, all night long... lo and just released them this morning... either way... is a stunning work and soooo well deserved.... You know How I adore your work. Interesting thing is I only voted 5 times as tie breakers. Everything else was strictly chosen by the community and the judges!

I love this.Β I'm Native and it makes me happy to see a Native looking man in the head dress.Β However those feathers are pheasant feathers and eagle feathers would have been used.Β That's my only criticism.Β Well done, I'm pretty picky about the art where head dresses are concerned.
